Collage Samples

Project 1 : Sheep in the grass land

Things Required

• Color papers [blue, orange, black, green, yellow]
• Sponge [white]
• Chart paper
• Glue
• Pencil
• Scissors

Method

• Draw outline of grassland, hills, trees, sky, and sheep
• Color the grassland, trees, hills etc with the color you wish to
• Cut color papers into square shapes. Glue over the sky area then stick blue squares in the upper sky and orange to the lower are of the sky
• Make bushes around the tree with the green strips of paper strips
• Make tiny spiral out of cotton / sponge.
• Stick them on sheep's body.
• Then stick eyes, ears, and nose and color the legs

 

Project 2 : Flower creation using grains

Things Required

• Ragi
• Mustard Seed
• Carom Seed
• Glue
• Chart Paper
• Black sketch

Method

• Draw outline of a flower
• Spread glove over the outline
• Carefully, gently and slowly fill each petals with different grains
• Gently punch and press over the finished collage (after 5 or 10 minutes)

 

Project 3 : Paper ants - Simple ants collage using paper- For LKG[lower kindergarten] Students

Things Required

• Navy blue, sky blue, yellow, orange, white color Papers
• Glue
• Black sketch pen
• Note book

Method

• Draw outline of an ant
• Cut the papers as follows
• 3 Navy blue oval shaped papers for head body and stomach
• 2 small white round shaped papers for eyes
• 2 sky blue paper pieces for ant's antennae
• 6 strips for legs
• Apply glue over the outline and paste papers one by one
• Then draw the eyes using black pen.
• Now paper ant is ready
